Annual Reopening of Kew Palace

The Kew Palace is the smallest and most intimate of the royal palaces with a distinctly Dutch look. George III purchased the Palace in 1781 as an annex to the White House to accommodate his expanding family. In 1818 Queen Charlotte died there. New for 2012 is the opening of the Royal Kitchens.
