The Best Royal Wedding Hotels
Unbeknownst to many, London hotels still have rooms available for William and Kate's wedding. These royal wedding hotels offer great packages for every budget, and it's not too late to book your hotel room and take part in the historic occasion.
With Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding less than a week away, the hotels across London have all wedding packages and party plans finalized. It's rumored that Kate Middleton will stay at The Goring Hotel which is near Buckingham palace. Kate has finalized her reservations and it's not too late for you. Every one of the royal wedding hotels I called still had packages available. From signature drinks to wedding viewing parties to full-blown wedding packages, the London Hotels have it all. These are some of my best picks for every budget.
The Lancaster
Most royal wedding hotel packages include a night's stay and breakfast for two. The Lancaster London has packages starting at £209 which include a room and a special "Royal Breakfast" for two.
The Royal Garden Hotel
The Royal Garden Hotel has rates starting £280. The package includes a night's stay, afternoon tea, two tickets to Kensington Palace and use of some of the hotel's spa facilities.
The Mandarin Oriental
The Mandarin Oriental London has perhaps the biggest royal wedding hotel package, the "Royal Wedding Tour." The package includes a six night stay, daily breakfast, champagne receptions, dinner at the hotel and tours in luxury carriages. It's fit for a queen to be with rates starting around £11,300.
The Stafford
If you're interested in saving money on royal wedding hotels, you can still splurge at the celebration. The Stafford London has a fantastic royal wedding celebration in their outdoor courtyard with a large screen for viewing live wedding coverage. The celebration will serve royal foods, including English pantry cakes, mutton burgers and sparkling white wine. It only costs £85 and includes all food and drinks.
The Royal Garden Inn
The Royal Garden Inn has introduced 10 signature drinks for the celebration, including a blue diamond (like Kate's ring) and the Cinderella sling.
The Mandeville Hotel
Many royal wedding hotels are also offering special afternoon teas in honor the of wedding. The Cavendish London (http://www.hotellondon.com/the-cavendish-london.htm) has a "Taste of Royal Tea" and deVille at The Mandeville Hotel has a royal afternoon tea.
London Hilton
Galvin at Windows on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane is even offering three-course lunches called "Royal Delicacies" with gourmet options such as fresh Dorset crab, roasted and glazed fillet of Scotch beef, and rhubarb tart.
If you're interested in saving money on royal wedding hotels there are still rooms available at many budget-brand hotels. You can also find cheaper rooms at hotels outside of the city. There are many new hotels being built for next year's Olympics and some of them have already opened. Some local bed and breakfasts also have great deals on royal wedding hotel rooms; so, no matter what your budget, you can still celebrate the wedding in style.
