The London Fashion Week has three key objectives- to celebrate and showcase astonishing talent in the world of Fashion; to inspire and educate young people to get involved with the industry; and to leave a legacy of support in the future. The womenswear shows and exhibits will be from February 17^th- February 21^st. Then meswear shows and exhibits will be on February 22^nd.

This is a trade event so you can only get in if you are BFC accredited to the main event. However people watching around the Somerset house is quite fun. You can also sign up for tickets to London Fashion Weekend to see the latest collections and get your hands on designer gear at reduced prices. These tickets come in two options. Buy tickets to shop in a timed slot which can cost 15-16 pounds or to shop-have-a-goody-bag-and-see-a-catwalk-show which costs 28.50 + pounds.

The whole city will be buzzing with extreme fashion sense. Previously places around London have done events that were for the general public. Some of these places that have done things previously are: Topshop Oxford Circus, The May Fair Hotel, The London College of Fashion, Westfield Stratford City, and Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair.
